Now it is suspected that the virus was circulating widely in early February. I know of 3 people just in Sun City that had COVID-19 symptoms that they couldn't shake even with multiple rounds of antibiotics and were tested negative for flu.
Today the USA had 2,342 new deaths to lead the world. Next was UK with 638. The USA led the world with 31,900 new cases. Russia was next with 4,700. Yeah, let's all go back to work.
As i have said before, my sense or need to write these days is waning. Not sure why, but investing emotionally in things no one seems to care about is part of it most assuredly. My salvation is the museum is looking to the future and it may well get me motivated. Time will tell if the board is willing to act on our ideas, but is they do, it will be the biggest, most exciting effort to reinvent ourselves in years. Bold, brash and boastful in ways most visitors will find fascinating and enticing. On the other hand, the nonsense of these daily trump televised rallies is almost beyond comprehension. The idiotic statements once he goes off script is painful to watch (which i try and avoid) and dangerous on so many levels. Worse yet is to listen to republicans i know are way smarter than they are acting, stand by and prop up his lunacy with support and a pretense he has any clue what he is talking about. He ran on the concept of being a "chaos president" and he is living up to that promise in spades. I spend much of day reading articles and there are so many that look like they should be straight from the pages of Mad magazine but are from reputable publishers who are simply reporting the "facts." Stay safe and don't drink the bleach.
Well Georgia has opened up yesterday with more to happen on Monday. Thank God we have real Americans such as governor Brian Kemp. Here’s something to think about, we have lost 600 jobs for good Americans for every corona death. One has to ask themselves, is it worth it? Yes all lives are precious, but When do we stand up and fight this thing as Americans? President Washington said, Americans would rather stand up and fight, then live on their knees. Benjamin Franklin said, those who would give up liberty for safety, deserve neither. As for me I’m going to do as president Washington said I’m going to stand up and fight and not live in fear on my knees.
Guess the people that open their states early in conflict with our Fearless Leader's Guidelines and which also have rising infections & deaths will find out what the phrase "What goes around comes around." means. This goes also to the protesters that ignore social distancing by gathering in crowds without face masks while shouting, coughing & sneezing in the face of others. They are all peeing in the shallow end of the pool impacting the whole US pool in days to come. Just watch the numbers.....they don't lie.
For those who say that the President said inject Clorox or bleach or anything else into your body, I watched the press conference when he talked about putting ultraviolet light in your body and possible uses of disinfectant but he never said inject Clorox or bleach into your body. You are going to have to prove it to me beyond a shadow of a doubt, or put up with the fact that you’re lying through your damn teeth or you don’t know what you’re talking about. Now there is a UV light catheter that Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles has come up with called the Heallight. It is put down the tube of a patient who is intubated with lung problems and is used to kill the viruses or bacteria in the lungs with the UV light. So sit there in your smug know it all attitude and do your own damn research and figure it out yourself before you go around saying you know what the president or me or anybody else meant who comes on here and disagrees with you.
I believe this light catheter exists and I'm sure it has been widely researched prior to our Supreme Leader suggesting it's use. Lighted scopes have been used in many ways for years. But, I can just see it now. This new piece of equipment if effective(or later possibly found useless but not harmful without extensive testing) will be henceforth be called "The Amazing Terrific Incredible Never Seen Before and No One Could have Imagined It Trump Light Wand". Can't wait!!

There's no reason to have to prove anything to you Tom. The mere fact everyone with an ounce of sense or somehow related to disinfectants had to post warnings the day after trump was spewing the nonsense says it all. Opening up too soon only insures we see more of them die. If you want to get angry, look at states where they can't get those laid off workers the benefits congress passed. We are more than a month in and they are being told it could be many more weeks before they see a dime. Don't even get me started on Georgia. Your president set the guidelines for re-opening and Kemp disregarded them On April 17 they had 650 dead. A week later they are just over 900. This notion that some must die so others can "live a normal life" is pathetic. Let me ask you the same question i asked the lady on Nextdoor: How many is too many dead before you think the price to go back to "normalcy" is too high? 1000? 5000? 50,000? 100,000? Help me understand your point of view Tom, what's the going rate for dead bodies so others can shop and hang around the tavern?
