I have found very little on the built AZ environment so clutch at straws such as this when they appear. There is a guide to Phoenix architecture from (make up a date) the 1990s that is a start and unfortunately the finish on what I have been able to discover. However it does supply names and dates of the stuff I am interested in, which stops pretty much where MCM takes over.

Which book is that? Arizona has a few architecture schools that might have libraries with info.

Here is my Arizona library. I feel that I should be able to find my WPA Guide to Arizona, but it is possible that I don't actually have one.

Any modernistic sculptures in SC like those on the covers of your books? I doubt it but I wish there were. Some of the 70's built houses have cool shapes.

The Sun City Visitor Center has a book with information and floor plans of all the condos in SC.
At least they did when I volunteered there. Not sure about the houses.

I think they also have a book about the churches.

If you haven't been to the Visitor Center, it's worth the trip. Lots and Lots of free info about SC.

Yes, at least one, but it has a story that involves me being approached by security and told that I can't take pictures there. I tried to get permission from the security person but the best I could get was 'Don't call us, we'll call you." And they have not called yet. I might use the shots I took before I was squelched.

I will cruise by the next time I am at the library, which I volunteer at, so it's rarely more than a week between visits. Thanks for the idea.

Thank you. I have bookmarked the page with all the models.
I have R25 and it is very convenient. The lanai has been enclosed and is my TV/sewing room.
Another enclosed patio has been added.

Also I am not a big fan of abstract sculpture, I missed the MCM calling. i saw one recently, if I can remember where it is it might show up here, and was not sure if it was art or construction debris left over from some recent project. I will try and search it out.
I seem to have Image 284, but maybe it is 285
